Grades one through eight meet from 3:30-4:30, with a snack being provided from 3:10-3:30, and high school students from 6:15-8:00 (Open Gym/Social 7:30-8:00). All grade levels use the Faith and Life educational series which complies with the curriculum and standards of the Diocese of Marquette.
Liturgy of the Word - Students in Pre-K through second grade are welcome to attend Liturgy of the Word every Sunday at the 11:00 Mass.
Catechesis of the Good Shepherd - The Catechesis of the Good Shepherd is a Montessori-based religious formation program for children ages 3-6 years. It seeks to create and facilitate a sacred, “hands-on” space called an atrium, in which both the children and the catechists can hear, ponder, and celebrate the most essential mysteries of the Christian faith as revealed in the Scripture and liturgy. This program was implemented in November of 2006. Our atrium is housed in the Saint Joseph Conference Room and program will be held 11:00 am – 12:00 noon on Sundays. Parents will have the opportunity to bring their young children to the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd while they celebrate Sunday liturgy with the parish community.
All of the above mentioned programs are headed up by our Faith Formation Coordinator, Alison Schlag
